and has failsafe relockers to secure its integrity against pounding and drilling. The handle is
designed with a clutch-drive mechanism causing it to slip when excessive force is applied. With all
the beefed up features on this safe, theft should never be a problem.
Although the Liberty safes are not fireproof; they are one hour fire rated up to 1200
degree temperatures, with 3 layers of insulation, and the door is heat activated to seal out smoke
and heat. They are not waterproof, and therefore not suitable for locations where excessive water
damage or flood is an issue. They are equipped with a multiple user code combination lock, which is
very convenient for a family safe. This lock is very similar to a bank combination lock.
